About SSTI

Strategic Storage Trust, Inc. is the fifth public self storage company in the United States and the first self storage REIT in the public non-traded REIT marketplace. The self storage industry is a unique asset class which displays recession-resistant traits as it is affected by human life factors such as marriage, divorce, retirement, relocation, and military enlistment. This, combined with a fragmented industry and baby boomer demographics, makes for an attractive real estate asset class in the coming years.

The Strategic Storage Trust, Inc. management team is comprised of industry veterans. They have institutional experience in the underwriting and acquisitions of self storage properties. Collectively, our team has over 50 years of self storage experience and has completed over $10 billion in real estate transactions.

Therefore, a copy of the prospectus must be made available to you in connection with the offering. This advertising material must be read in conjunction with the prospectus in order to understand fully all of the implications and risks of the offering of securities to which it relates. To understand the Strategic Storage Trust offering fully, you should read the entire prospectus and Risk Factors carefully, including the “Questions and Answers About this Offering” and “Risk Factors” sections and the financial statements, before making a decision to invest in our shares. Some of the more significant risks include the following: the “blind pool” nature of the offering; our accumulated deficit; absence of public market for the shares and lack of liquidity; we have paid distributions from sources other than cash flows from operations and may continue to do so; dependence on our advisor and its affiliates to select investments and conduct our operations; our board’s ability to change our investment objectives; our payment of substantial fees and expenses to our advisor and its affiliates; conflicts of interest among us and our sponsor and its affiliates; less diversification if we raise substantially less than the maximum offering; we may fail to remain qualified as a REIT; and we may incur substantial debt. We cannot assure you that we will achieve any of our investment objectives. No offering is made to New York residents except by a prospectus filed with the Department of Law of the State of New York.
